i am elated, because man utd won sunderland 4-0 last night, while arsenal drew portsmouth, so man utd are top of the table now, AWESOME :D
sometimes i think im so crazy over watching soccer i rather stay at home and watch channel 27 the whole night instead of going out lol.
anyway, job orientation today was very boring, i wanted to fall asleep throughout the whole thing. the lunch break was soooo long (yes, im complaining abt a way too long lunch break), and the modules were, well, rather boring.
xr got very very upset over the fact that i was only working part time but got posted to the liquor & tobacco section while she got the chocolates, which is just too bad :P
wine training after the orientation for the people working in LT was fun though. we got to taste sauvignon blanc, shiraz and some other blend, though they all tasted the same to me lol. seriously, low tolerance ): but it was fun to learn abt some common wines sold and all, and the two guys were damn funny. we had to smell the wine in our glasses, swirl, and smell again. we were smelling the shiraz, and
guy1: "it smells like crap."
after swirling,
"it still smells like crap."
guy 2: "it smells like.. something rotten. like - "
which was enough to send the 4 of us into laughing fits. but they slurped down the wine anyway, the two of us took a sip from their glasses and gave up. hahaha. there were only 4 of us in our teens there, and the rest of the adults drank the wine like pros, lol.
was too late to catch the movie after the uniform fitting, so ym and i ended up walking down orchard under the pretty christmas lightings.. :)

pariss high-tea buffet at marina square with the family, then meeting up with the rest of hhypes (minus SY) at siglap to chill; stupidly sitting in the smoking area at starbucks only to complain about the smoke, being sad kids when the staff came out to (very politely) break up our bridging, giving out the souvenirs, playing truth-or-truth and everything else.. was good (:
now i know why i didn't start a blog a long long time back when everybody got one. i knew the reason all along- i'm just too lazy to update it. LOL. in fact, i'm even too lazy to create the links to the friends and the chatbox or whatever you call it.
okay, being out for the past one week plus has been good. meeting up with all the different groups of friends, catching up, christmas gatherings and all (:
but my money's depleting from my bank account as fast as.. well i can't think of any analogy to use right now, but you get the point. actually, i can't wait for work at the airport to start soon, really.
the other night i was watching barcelona against real madrid at the nou camp, it was so exciting and entertaining. seriously, i think they're different from matches in the EPL, it's just so much more.. technical and.. yeah. just now there was a replay of the man utd-bayern munich match, the 1998/1999 champions league finals, manutd's treble winning year. i can't believe how excited i got when man utd scored two goals in final minutes of extra time to win 2-1, even though the match was played like 8 years ago. lol.
and by the way, i'm looking forward to the boxing day fixtures tmr, hahaha.
i'm getting sick of all the buffets already, and i desperately need my weekly jogs at bedok reservoir. i hope it stops raining..

2. refrain from spending any money on food and shopping unnecessarily, since i am currently involuntarily unemployed
rainy days are bad because:
1. they make me sit in front of the computer the whole day, snacking on junk food
2. i can't go to the reservoir for my usual runs to burn off the calories i keep eating in
by the way, i love the girl friends alot (: been in town everyday. it made me want to laze around at home the whole day.
and i can't wait for the soccer coming up on sunday; manutd-liverpool and arsenal-chelsea :D
okay, episode 5 of Romantic Princess is done loading, i'm off to watch more Wuzun now. i wonder how anybody can be as hot and good looking as Wuzun. hahahahaha.
the past week: prom, job hunting, barbeque at ecp, shopping, lazy days, and incessant rain.
anyway, been sleeping at 5am everyday, just to finish watching It Started With A Kiss on youtube. i know it's late, and as xiuru reminded me, part 2's coming out soon. but i swear it's damn nice, although this kind of things never happen in reality. and after watching joe cheng for 30 episodes, i think i really have a thing for guys with small eyes, hahaha. i think i shall watch Romantic Princess next.32/06 bbq at wy's yesterday night was good; we arrived late and didn't get to see his awesome penthouse that everyone else gushed about ):, but the food was nice and his parents were nicer (i mean they were nice cos they sponsored all the food). i think sausages and marshmellows are the bestest things to barbeque, hahaha. and the bridge and daidee and photos and all, (:
and i met hj on the bus home, which was super surprising; haven't seen him for a long time since the camp at ntu, and he lives in the hall, so i couldn't believe he was actually on the same bus home. but he's still the childish OLD boy hahaha.
after reading pride and prejudice for the one millionth time, i still never fail to fall in love with mr darcy, laugh at mrs bennet and mr collins, with mr bennet, admire elizabeth, and laugh at all the irony in jane austen's words, all over again. even though it reminds me of reading the novel for the A's, i still love it (:
Enchanted today was very nice. very cliche and sweet and cute and funny and all, after the happy-ever-after ending, i swear everyone came out with a smile (: i must be the most indecisive person around, i wouldn't have managed to get all the prom stuff by today if it wasn't for jenny, thanks girl!
prom's tmr, i can't wait for it to be over actually. so that i can look forward to all the buffets and chocolates and b&j's calling out to me in my refrigerator, lol. the chocolates and icecream i mean.
no matter what everybody says, i still think neopets is fun okay. at least it's keeping me occupied till 3.55am later when manutd plays fulham. i think i'll wake up with even darker eyebags tmr, but it's a manutd match.
i think im an extremely lazy person- everyday i just feel like lying in my bed all day long, reading persuasion by austen, eating, and watching tv. according to the test, sloth is my greatest sin, and i totally agree with it, but i can't help it. my mum says i better be able to change my lazy lifestyle when (and if) i start work, which makes me kind of not look forward to scouting for temp jobs anymore. but then again, i need the money. and i want the experience, of course.
