Finally all the working at 2 places and multiple kids I've been teaching and late nights have taken their toll on me.
Enduring a temperature of 38.3 degrees is no fun at all, makes me feel like I can't do anything except pop panadols and sleep the entire day ):

Being able to see Sir Alex, see Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Van Der Sar, Ferdinand, Berbatov, Owen and co. running around, passing the ball was totally unbelievable and surreal. I stopped trying to take pictures cos' I just wanted to see them in the flesh with my own eyes. Evra and Anderson threw their jerseys into the crowd right beside us, so freaking jealous! And being able to just be around all the Man Utd fans, singing Glory Glory Man United together, booing at people who walked into the stadium in their Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal/Man City jerseys, made the journey and the 5 hr wait under the sun and haze all worth it (: It was just awesome to see all the Man Utd fans travel up to KL just to catch the team in action, there was this bond even though everyone was a complete stranger haha. Of course, the shopping didn't go too badly, spent about 800RM in 3 days, oh no I think I'm growing into a shopaholic..

Not as hyped up about seeing Liverpool at the National Stadium on Sunday, seeing that Gerrard's not coming ):

Genting was great too, love the weather there even though it was a little bit colder and mistier than usual, (and the moths were really EVERYWHERE; in the lobby, on the floor, the windows, the ceilings, the eating places etc etc, Flo kept jumping and hiding behind us haha) but no complains at all. Spent a whole day at the theme park (okay maybe not the WHOLE day since I woke up the latest), still didn't dare try the corkscrew and space shot, but at least I tried 2 new rides yes? And ate Baskin Robbins, had peanut butter in every single meal I ate, watched HBP for only 12RM, played bridge whenever we got the chance.. I'm secretly glad that they didn't complain much about having to wait for me to get ready every morning+night since I spend the longest time ever in the bathroom, having to walk to the bus bay with me just because i needed my HL chocolate milk etc (:

Not entirely looking forward to August.. On one hand, can't wait for it to come cos' the 09/10 season will be starting, on the other I'm dreading it cos' it means results will be released.

KL to see my Man Utd this weekend, and genting over middle of following week. It's only msia, but I just want to get away from here. What with working at Obolo and Cedele, plus tuition after work, I'm kinda tired.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is coming out in 5 days! CANNOT WAIT(: Been trying to finish reading the book before the movie comes out, I guess I like movies only if they follow the book, that's why I didn't like Angels & Demons at all.. In other news, my Roger Federer won his sixth wimbledon title/15th Grand Slam (and more to come) and got back the world number 1 ranking; this after winning his first ever French Open at Roland Garros, this has got to be his year :D

Okay, shall go continue reading HBP now.

Roger Federer finally won the Roland Garros French Open to complete a career grand slam, I can only say I am freaking happy for him (:
Have been ogling incessantly at Gu Jun Pyo/Lee Min Ho in Boys Over Flowers
Read two Pride & Prejudice sequels (I just happen to love Jane Austen's P&P)
Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid ): It'll definitely be a loss, but I'm sure Fergie can use that cash to buy a few decent players to boost the squad, so bye CR7!

In other news, I can't believe how poorly Man U defended against Porto at Old Trafford. An equaliser in the 89th freaking minute?! If it ended 2-2 at Porto, then I'd have felt more satisfied. But it's at our home ground! It'll be an uphill battle at the away leg, but I know we'll fight till the end (:

teoheng-ed with the work girls it was great fun
caught Marley & Me I swear everybody in the cinema cried it was so sad
had half priced gelare chocolate chips waffle with icecream yummm
watched Man Utd put in an awesome team performance in their FA Cup quarter final 4-0 win over Fulham
got through a mathematics paper which was kind of depressing
found out that Steph thinks I'm childish, but my temper has improved since dhs days haha
laughed very hard
got to sleep 10 hours a day
discovered that siglap has my second favourite Starbucks after tampines cos there's Werner's Oven just across the road
kept trying to procrastinate my revision for ibm paper it's the most boring module ever...
had pork shabu shabu and bacon rosti
also had a humongous cup of Gloria Jeans mocha ice blend for only $3
saw my bank account deplete at an alarming rate because of all the online shopping it's becoming an addiction again someone stop me!
didn't get my weekly runs at the reservoir after all the eating ):

Haven't been able to get my exercise at the reservoir these few days cos of the rain it's so irritating. But I saw a rainbow today after the rain! I hope it's a good sign (:

The first two days have been fun , running to so many places as usual. They all came over last night at 8 plus pm and we had two tables of mj going on till 2 plus 3 am, with dad and I having home ground advantage at our respective tables and winning the most cash HAHA. My cousins can be so funny; wenhao korkor lao-ed the beehoon instead of the yusheng cos he mistook the beehoon for a plate of similar coloured yusheng right beside it (when almost 20 other people were happily tossing the yusheng as high as possible all around him), I laughed till I teared.. I'm easily amused haha.

I never felt hungry throughout the two days, they've been full of eating and eating.. Steamboat-CNY goodies-lunch-CNY goodies-dinner-CNY goodies-steamboat- and it goes on. And there're still at least 2 more steamboats to go.. Need to get exercise soon!

Despite the recession, quantity of angbaos hasn't decreased as much as I expected, but haven't opened them yet, so not sure about the quality.. haha.

And to add to all these, my Roger Federer put up an amazing display of tennis and thrashed Del Potro 6-3 6-0 6-0 in the quarters, while Man Utd thrashed WBA 5-0 and set a new record of 11 consecutive (and counting, hopefully) BPL clean sheets :D :D :D

Sometimes I'm amazed at how I malu myself in the most ridiculous ways. Like getting stuck in the fitting room because the lock was stuck and calling out for help when there was a long queue outside waiting to use the fitting room HAHA.

I think as we grow older, we tend to increasingly not mind doing certain things alone. I think we all need space and time to ourselves sometimes.

There're approximately 3.5 more hours to kill until Man U-Derby at Old Trafford at 4am later. So thoughts may get more incoherent..

My p1 tutee can really get on my nerves at times. But the other day I came home to find a long awaited box all the way from Basel, Switzerland, it made me :D

Man Utd are top of the table now, with one game in hand, I know they will stay there till end May (: And my Federer got off to the AO with a good win, not the best tennis from him, but I'll be supporting him all the way in his bid for a 14th Slam (: And he got a new haircut, so cute hahaha. I think I must spend half my time watching ManU and Federer matches, but it's worth it, nothing can stop me from supporting them HAHA. Buddy, we better plan a trip to KL in July soon to see our United in action!

Today Jeremy printed 35 copies of the same few pages of notes because the notes got stuck in the machine/the ink was too light/he missed out a few lines etc, we must've spent so much time at the photocopying room laughing at our noob-ness, at least I did, it was hilarious! Thinking of it makes me laugh already hahaha.

Today is also Barack Obama's inauguration! Amazing how it's turned into a global phenomenon eh. The world's most powerful man's going to have so much to deal with though.

Most impt New Year resolution: MUST run at least twice a week if time and weather permit, if not at least once, and try not to get so easily irritated by annoying/kiasu/inconsiderate/crazy public transport commuters lol.

I'm shagged. But life's been fairly good (:

Juggling schoolwork/part timing at Obolo/tuition hasn't taken its toll on me yet; mail from St. James, London made my day; my awesome Man Utd became the first British team to lift the Fifa Club World Cup trophy even though they played most of the 2nd half with 10 men so that's an unprecedented treble in 2008; bbq at Fiona's was fun; Four Christmases and Twilight were both pretty good; Christmas is 3 days away (and I've gotten 2 things on my wishlist yay); Chris's going to bring back yummy cornflakes from Korea (I hope haha)...

Plus getting addicted to ISWAK again (I'm only watching the whole series for the 2nd time!) is..shiok. HAHA. Jiang Zhi Shu's like the yummiest guy ever in all the taiwan dramas I've watched. Maybe that's just me, but whatever haha.

Just not looking forward to school starting though. Gotta do my globalisation essay and study for the ibm test soon ):

BNJ'S CHUNK FEST

The queueing was terrible in the humid post-rain weather on the muddy grass, so there were these few guys with guitars going around to random groups of people in the queue to sing whatever they requested, and so this guy came and we requested for Jason Mraz's I'm Yours. He's so cute, and his voice just totally made us go AWWW and melted our hearts. Serious! Haha.
Peanut butter cookie dough & Choc Fudge Brownie Frozen Yoghurt were gooooooddd. SLURPS. I hope they bring in more of these new flavours to S'pore soon!

SCSM 2008 Waking up at 6.30am after only 3 hours of sleep because Man Utd gave me such a heart attack with, of all people, one half of my favourite central defence popping up with the winner over Sunderland, kinda sucked. But felt fantastic and strangely energetic after the run lol. The run itself was good; nice weather, great route, drinks every 1.5km.. the pre- and post-race sucked though. We missed the bananas, but being the typical kiasu S'porean I got myself 3 Nature Valley's bars to make up for it HAHA. Of course, it was only 10km la. Nothing compared to the half and full marathoners, some of whom were still running when we were on the mrt home. Brave, these people. Maybe I should challenge myself and try to do at least a half marathon before I turn 20. Hopefully.

Federer has just won his 3rd consecutive Davidoff Swiss Indoors title in his hometown Basel, and he's gonna be playing at the Paribas Masters in Paris this week (((: , and Liverpool has just ended Chelsea's 4yr unbeaten home record, woohoo :D Even if it wasn't Man Utd who did that.

I kinda miss the tj days with 32/o6, sitting at the marquee during breaks, gossiping/TRYING to rush out tutorials/talking rubbish/ xr and abby complaining that I'm always only eating dewberry the whole day/care and share sessions etc etc.. Somehow friends in university just aren't the same. In fact I don't even think they're like, real friends, y'know? Once the semester's over, you move on to trying to get to know new people again, which is kinda ):

Man Utd and Rooney are on a roll now, and Berbatov's gradually understanding how to play with the rest of the team too, whoopeedoo (: But unless Chelsea suffers a sudden dip in form or something, I doubt ManU's gonna retain the domestic title this season.

New Balance Real Run was a killerzz, as if running 10km of sand/trail/gravel/road under the bloody scorching hot sun wasn't bad enough, it took us another 1hr/5km (under the same bloody hot sun) just to get out of the stupid ulu place and find a bus stop that took us to civilisation.
Okay I so do not look utterly exhausted here, but whatever.

Contrary to all those newspaper reports, I thought Mamma Mia! the movie was really good! Classic Abba songs, fun and happy movie and all. Okay maybe partly because my favourite Colin Firth's in it (even though he turned out to be gay in the movie boo), but it was sucha fun and cheerful movie to watch and sing along to, plus Meryl Streep's awesome in it, I came out of the movies smiling and all haha. Everyone please do watch it, it's very worth the money! Seriously contemplating getting the movie soundtrack, anyone owes me a birthday present? HAHA.
Juggling school stuff and work has been manageable so far.. although the boss can get seriously unreasonable, the rest of them like Audrey, Caroline, Darren, Wendy, Winnie, Ruslina, and even the new guy Allester just make work much more bearable.

Okay I seriously should stop wasting so much time online instead of revising/studying my work esp econs and ibm, and sociology and.. probably math too. Okay that's every single subject there is bleagh.

Btw, I can't believe Hull City just beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates zomg. HAHAHA.
